What is the promotion?

Eligible eBay sellers who have been invited to participate by email and/or by a message in My eBay Messages and/or see the offer in “Promotional offers” in Seller Hub (or “Selling promotions” in My eBay) will have 80% of the Promoted Listings Standard fees they have incurred during the Promotion period waived.

The discount amount will be calculated as 80% of the total Promoted Listings Standard fees applied to Sellers’ account during the Promotion period, but not more than 100 USD on ebay.com / 100 GBP on ebay.co.uk / 100 EUR on ebay.de. In order to qualify for the 80% fee discount, an item must have been sold using the Promoted Listings Standard service, and as such, would have an associated Promoted Listings Standard fee based on the advertising percentage rate selected. Other fees still apply. Promoted Listings Standard service must be used on ebay.com, ebay.co.uk or ebay.de.

Who is eligible?

Seller must be registered as a resident in one of the countries listed below.

Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is non-transferable.

The promotion is valid only for one account that has been invited to participate by email or by a message in My eBay Messages, even if the seller has other active eBay accounts.

Sellers need to promote their listings on ebay.com, ebay.co.uk or ebay.de.

Only sellers whose accounts meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards in each region (i.e., in all 4 programs: UK, US, DE, Global) are eligible. Please view your Seller Dashboard to verify whether your account is currently meeting the standards.

To take part in this promotion, sellers must have been invited to participate. Sellers that have been invited to participate will have received an email and/or a message in My eBay Messages and/or see the offer in “Promotional offers” in Seller Hub (or “Selling promotions” in My eBay).

When can I redeem the Offer?

Sellers can accept this promotion during the Announced Promo Period.

Announced Promo Period — is a period that starts from the moment when a seller receives the email with promotional offer and valid till the date stated in marketing communication or in “Promotional offers” in Seller Hub (or “Selling promotions” in My eBay). To participate in the promotion Seller must accept the promotional offer by clicking on the subscription/ RSVP link(s) in the invitation email or clicking “get offer”/”activate” in “Promotional offers” in Seller Hub (or “Selling promotions” in My eBay) during the Announced Promo Period.

Promotion period — is a term that starts when a seller accepts the promotional offer and valid during 30 calendar days.

Once sellers accept the offer as described above they can start to promote their listings. The discount will only apply to Promoted Listings Standard fees incurred during the Promotion period. Any Promoted Listings Standard campaigns launched outside the Promotion period will not be eligible for this promotion.

The promotion is only valid from the moment of the acceptance of the offer. eBay has a right to terminate the Promotional offer with prior notification to the invited sellers.

How do I get the promotional rate?

Sellers who have been invited to the promotion need accept the promotional offer by clicking on the subscription/RSVP link(s) in the invitation email (i.e. moment of your acceptance) or clicking “get offer”/”activate” in “Promotional offers” in Seller Hub (or “Selling promotions” in My eBay). Sellers who activate the offer and use Promoted Listings Standard campaign on ebay.com, ebay.co.uk or ebay.de with the seller’s qualifying eBay user ID will receive a 80% discount on the Promoted Listings Standard fees.

Promoted items and Promoted Listings Standard campaigns must comply with all applicable eBay policies, including the Promoted Listings Standard terms of service.

This promotion is valid only for Promoted Listings Standard advertising fees.

Any Promoted Listings Standard campaigns launched outside the Promotion period are not eligible for this promotion.

Any sellers who have NOT been invited to participate are not eligible.

Any sellers with accounts that are “Suspended” and/or “On hold” are excluded.

Only fixed price listings are eligible.

Sellers who have been invited to participate, have clicked Accept offer, but used Promoted Listings Standard campaign not on ebay.com, ebay.co.uk or ebay.de are not eligible.

Sellers who have used the Promoted Listings Standard campaign on ebay.com, ebay.co.uk or ebay.de, but have not clicked “Accept offer” are not eligible.

This Promotional offer excludes:

• Real Estate (10542), eBay Motors (6000) (categories Auto Parts & Accessories (6028) and Automotive Tools & Supplies (34998) are included);
• any listings that don’t comply with our listing policies or prohibited and restricted items policies;
• any item listed during the promotional period but scheduled to start after the promotional period;
• all items listed on sites for which you are not eligible.

The value of the fees waived will not exceed the applicable fees incurred.

Discount amount can not exceed 100 USD /100 GBP /100 EUR.

This promotional discount will be applied to incurred Promoted Listings Standard fees. The seller will only be charged 20% of the ad fee, the remaining 80% will be automatically deducted from the 100 USD /100 GBP /100 EUR discount value.

Third-party fees may still apply.

General Terms

eBay is continuously monitoring any unusual behavior. eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay’s opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion.

eBay also reserves the right to exclude users on the basis that their seller accounts have fallen below the minimum required seller performance standards.

Any attempt to manipulate the promotion will lead to automatic exclusion from participation.

The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The terms of the current Terms and Conditions for the Promotional offer shall prevail over the other communication including marketing communications, invitation you received in respect to this Promotional offer.
